The Intelligence Bureau (IB), India’s premier intelligence agency, has announced the recruitment of 226 Assistant Central Intelligence Officers (ACIO) Grade-II/Tech. The vacancies are available in the Computer Science & Information Technology (CS&IT) and Electronics & Communication (EC) streams.Eligible candidates must be graduates in a relevant engineering discipline with a minimum of 60% marks in aggregate. They must also have a valid GATE score in the relevant stream. The upper age limit for the CS&IT stream is 28 years and for the EC stream is 30 years.The selection process will consist of an online written test, a physical fitness test, and a personal interview. The online written test will be held on February 12, 2024.The application process will begin on December 23, 2023, and will close on January 12, 2024. IB ACIO Tech Selection Process 2023
- Candidates (10 times the number of vacancies) shortlisted on the basis of GATE score
- Candidate has the option to provide his/her best GATE score from amongst GATE 2021 or 2022 or 2023.
- The date & time of Interview would be intimated to the shortlisted candidates by E-mail given by them in online application.
- Based on the combined score of GATE & Interview, the candidates would be shortlisted for final selection subject to their Character and Antecedent verification followed by medical examination, etc.
